@bpmore disappointed to see Smart Phocus was bought out and stalled in making an iPhone 6 case – any suggestions on an alternate?

Moment Lens and Case — This is the product I’m most looking forward to trying out. They raised a nice chunk of change through their Kickstarter campaign, and I’m really liking what I see in the Moment Instagram feed. I plan on ordering it as soon as it becomes available.
The Moment Case is the first iPhone 6 case that was truly created for mobile photographers. Designed from the ground up, we wanted a case that delivered four things that we have been missing in mobile photography.
These four things are:
- DSLR like shutter button
- button and touch controls
- high-quality lens glass
- live outside the pocket
Ztylus — The Ztylus has a unique revolver design that includes 4 lenses in one attachment. It works with the Ztylus case and features the following lenses:
- CPL ( Circular Polarizer Filter)
A portable solution for mobile photographers, filmmakers, journalists, sportfans and travelers who are already using their smartphone cameras for telling visual stories and sharing them with the world.
It can be used as a tripod mount, grip or stand. I like that it’s minimal and will work with most any device.
Last But Not Least
iographer — This is the best all purpose system on the market today. Created by David Basulto, the media arts and animation instructor at San Marino High School in Southern California, he saw a need for a low-cost system to train his students.
The iographer is available for the iPhone 5/5S, various versions of the iPad. Recently, the iPhone 6+ version went on sale — and sold out. If you’ve invested heavily in the Smart Phocus, you will want to seriously consider the iographer.
- Easy in – easy out clip system to get your device in and out.
- 1/4 20 thread on the bottom for easy attachment to a tripod.
- 1/4 20 thread on the right handle for filming in portrait mode. Meerkat and Periscope like a pro.
- 37mm lens thread to add iOgrapher lenses — this is the same lens thread that the Smart Phocus uses. Reuse those lenses!
- 2 cold shoes on top to add lights or microphones.
- A patented handle system on both sides.
I’ve owned the iPad mini version and can’t say enough about the quality and ease of use. If I were to start doing video full time, I believe I could produce a quality product with a few iPad Air/iographer kits.
They’ve also recently announced the iographer Go.
