I learned something this week.
I learned that it’s OK to take a little break.
I’m not good at doing that (
sometimes a lot of the time) but I want to encourage you do try it this week (if you haven’t already).
Ten minutes here. Fifteen there.
Stretch. Sing out loud to your favorite song. Soak up the sun. Take a picture of something that makes you smile. Call me and ask me what my favorite guitars are. Take a deep breath and…wait for it…wait for it…exhale.
I had the kids this week and we played a lot of catch to break up the monotony.
After breakfast, lunch and dinner, we all worked hard on improving our spiral passes. No surprise, the boy is much better than me. The girl is too.
And we talked. About anything and everything.
How long do you think this will last?
Let me tell you why I love Paper Mario.
Can you help me with my Gacha Life video storyboard?
Check out what we’re learning about in math (Not gonna lie, this one caused my eyes to glaze over – but T’s excitement was awesome to see).
We surprised my parents by having dinner delivered to them.
T made cookies – twice.
We watched Trolls World Tour – and laughed so much.
I hope you had a good week and I look forward to helping you create time for little breaks next week.
